Οι πυροβολισμοί σημειώθηκαν στο κατάστημα Mad Butcher στο Φόρνταϊς του Αρκάνσας, ανέφερε το ειδησεογραφικό πρακτορείο Arkansas Online, επικαλούμενο τοπικούς αξιωματούχους.
Ο σερίφης της κομητείας του Ντάλας Μάικ Νόιντελ δήλωσε σε τοπικό κανάλι του CBS News ότι το περιστατικό «έχει περιοριστεί» και ότι ο δράστης τραυματίστηκε σοβαρά αφού πυροβολήθηκε από την αστυνομία.
